The package arrived in a glossy, almost display-ready box that feels more like a collector’s piece than standard grooming PR. Inside: Mario and Luigi-branded products, a legitimately comfortable shirt, and–for reasons–a real piece of moon rock. They were even nice enough to send over free movie tickets! The scents are where the set really comes together. Cosmic Quest (deodorant and bar soap) is built around "Star Showers," and it’s more restrained than the name suggests. The pear note comes in clean and crisp—fresh without feeling sugary--while the cedarwood adds a dry, slightly sharp edge that keeps everything balanced. As it settles, it stays light and composed, the kind of scent that works easily day to day without becoming repetitive or overpowering. Desert Detour (underarm spray and body wash), under the "Vanilla Sands" name, takes a fuller approach. The vanilla reads warm and rounded, but not overly sweet--more sunbaked than dessert-like. There’s an earthy layer underneath that gives it some weight, almost a dry, mineral quality that keeps it from drifting too soft. It’s a stronger presence overall and lingers more, which will either be the draw or just a bit much depending on your preference. What stands out is how distinct the two are.
