If you guys haven’t tried it already, @easyhangi actually have some awesome little pots and flavour squares for you to enjoy anytime & anywhere all at the convenience of portability. Tips please.. Yes, we are amateurs. A spontaneous weekend in Rotorua turned into a steam oven DIY experience when we realised our last minute booked accommodation had geothermal steam ovens ♨️ So naturally… we gave it a go 🌽 Corn = absolute perfection (10/10 would do again) 🦪 Mussels = mostly opened… we’ll call that a win 😅 🥚 Eggs = fully raw 😂 (turns out they needed longer or a different pot) But the real MVP… We used leftover lamb fat from the night before to soak over the corn + soak into buns 🤤🔥 Messy, random, slightly questionable… but honestly SO much fun. Such a cool, unique NZ experience to share with our overseas guests How’d we do? Any steam oven pros out there wanna roast us? 😅👇 #newzealand #hangi #nzadventures
