If 150 BPM Feels Harder Than 190… Watch This If 150 feels harder than 190, it’s not a speed problem. It’s a force timing problem. Most drummers re engage the pedal before rebound finishes. That overlap creates tension, kills efficiency, and makes mid tempo feel heavier than it should. The pedal is already cycling. You just have to time your force correctly. If your left foot twitches or collapses between 130 and 170, this is usually why. Comment DIAGNOSTIC and I’ll show you exactly where your mechanics are breaking down. #doublebassdrumming #drumtechnique #metaldrummer #drumeducation
플라이오메트릭🔥 파워는 더 세게 밀어내는 것이 아니라, 힘을 얼마나 빠르게 흡수하고 다시 전환하느냐에서 나온다🚀 Power doesn’t come from pushing harder. It comes from how fast you can absorb and redirect force.🚀 @niketraining @nikeseoul
Netballers, don’t skip your Copenhagens 👀🇩🇰 If you want to change direction faster, decelerate harder and stay robust throughout the season, your adductors matter. Every time you ⚡️Change direction 🦵Land on one leg 🛑Decelerate Your adductors work to control the femur, stabilise the pelvis and manage force in the frontal plane. Insufficient adductor strength can reduce your ability to control these forces and increase the load on surrounding muscles. Copenhagens and their variations strengthen the adductors, improving your ability to decelerate efficiently and change direction sharply. Progress as follows: 1️⃣ Bent knee hold (short lever) Start with 20 30 seconds per side Build baseline strength and positional control 2️⃣ Straight leg hold (long lever) Build up to 30-45 seconds per side 3️⃣ Straight leg with leg lift or taps 8 to 12 controlled reps 4️⃣ Knee drive or top leg movement 8 to 10 controlled reps 5️⃣ Add load with a plate or dumbbell on the knee 20 to 30 second holds If your hips are rotating, you are sagging, or you cannot maintain a straight line, you’ve progressed too soon.
In space, grabbing objects is harder than it seems because there is no gravity to hold you in place or give you something solid to push against. Wheels slip, clamps fail, and even a small force sends equipment drifting away. To solve this, NASA engineers built a robotic claw that grips in a different way. Instead of squeezing harder, it uses hundreds of tiny flexible spines that latch onto microscopic cracks and rough surfaces on rocks. Each spine bends on its own and spreads the force across the surface, creating a secure grip without crushing the material. This design allows robots to grab irregular objects in low or zero gravity, supporting asteroid sampling, climbing rocky terrain on Mars, and missions in areas too dangerous for humans. The SAVE Act would force Americans to show documents that tens of millions don’t have in order to access the ballot box. This bill won’t protect our elections. It will just make it harder for American citizens to vote.
😳 If your workouts look the same week after week, your results will too. Progressive overload is the mechanism behind strength gains and hypertrophy—not motivation, not soreness, not sweat. You don’t need to train harder. You need to train smarter. 🛟Save this. Track your lifts. Force adaptation. 📖 PubMed ID: 27102172 Schoenfeld BJ et al. Effects of resistance training volume on muscle hypertrophy. @bradschoenfeldphd ➡️ Confirms that progressive increases in training demand are key drivers of strength and muscle growth. #gymprogress #hypertrophy #strength #fitspo #fitness
Rope pull-ups hit different because they force your body to work harder to stabilize, not just pull. (Read below for workout). __ 1️⃣ Grip strength goes through the roof Unlike a bar, a rope is thick and unstable. Your hands, fingers, and wrists have to constantly squeeze to keep you from slipping. 👉 This builds: • Crushing grip strength • Finger flexor strength • Wrist stability That’s why your forearms feel blown up after. 2️⃣ Massive forearm development Because you’re gripping a thick rope, your forearm muscles stay under constant tension the whole set — no resting at the top like with a bar. This builds: • Thicker forearms • Tendon strength • Real-world pulling strength 3️⃣ More back muscle activation The instability forces your lats, rhomboids, and traps to work harder to control your body. Compared to regular pull-ups: ✅ More lat engagement ✅ More mid-back activation ✅ Better mind-muscle connection 4️⃣ Core has to lock in Your body wants to swing — your abs and obliques have to brace hard to stay tight. So you’re also training: • Core stability • Body control • Athletic strength 5️⃣ Builds “real strength” This is why rope work is used by: • Fighters • Gymnasts • Military training It develops strength that actually transfers to movement — not just aesthetics.. If you want to improve your Ski Erg for HYROX, it’s not just about working harder. It’s about being more efficient. One of the most common faults I see? Chasing a long stroke. You can create the most force at the start of the stroke. So when you go too long, you’re spending time and energy in a part of the movement that gives you less return. So think: Hit the top hard and get back up quickly.
Because a curved treadmill makes you do the work, not the motor. On a curved treadmill: • The belt only moves when you apply force • You produce more horizontal power (closer to real sprinting) • It naturally reinforces better sprint posture • Glutes and hamstrings work harder • You can hit high effort safely without being dragged by the belt A normal treadmill sets the speed for you. Great for steady runs, rehab, and tempo, but it gives you “free speed.” If the goal is acceleration, power, and sprint transfer, curved treadmills win.
The Force is NOT strong with this one ✂️🚫 My telekinesis free trial just expired... 😫🧠 It’s harder than it looks, okay? 10/10 for the concentration face, 0/10 for the execution.
