Why do we cover our eyes during Kriat Shemah?
It’s a way for us to connect to Hashem in a deep and spiritual manner.

Money can buy you luxury, comfort, and possessions… but can it bring you closer to Hashem?
We spend so much of our lives chasing the next dollar, the next opportunity, the next big thing.
But true wealth isn’t measured by how much you have. It’s measured by what you do with what Hashem has given you💸

Sometimes we want so badly to come closer to Hashem, but we don’t even know how to begin. These words are our tefillah: Hashem, bring us closer to You, and we will come. Open the door for us, help us take that first step, and lead us back to where we belong.
As we get closer to Rosh Hashana, may we all feel that closeness, and may every step we take toward Hashem be met with His arms wide open.
Looking forward to davening together this Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur at Beth El in Boro Park. If you haven’t yet, reserve your seats now at yibethel.org/welcome5787.
Modeh Ani is more than just a prayer, it’s a reminder to begin the day with gratitude.
Before anything else, thank You, Hashem, for returning my soul to me. Thank You for opening my eyes, for giving me the ability to walk, breathe, speak, and experience another day.
So many blessings we take for granted are miracles in themselves. Every morning is a gift, and every day is another opportunity to grow closer to Hashem.
Start your day with gratitude. Start your day with Modeh Ani. 💗💗💗🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼#מודהאני #chabad #jewish #torah #hashem

Don’t settle where you are when you were meant for the Promised Land. ✨
In Parashat Lech Lecha, Hashem tells Avraham to go “for your own good.” But if his family had already started heading toward the land earlier, why did Hashem need to step in and command him now?
Because Avraham had stopped and settled in Charan. He needed that chizuk, that extra push of divine encouragement, to not get comfortable halfway through his journey.
We often don’t realize how or why we ended up on a certain path, but Hashem is in every detail of the process.
Whenever you feel stuck or tempted to settle for less than your true potential, remember: Hashem wants you to reach your destination, and He will always provide the strength and guidance to get you there.
Shabbat Shalom! 🕯️🤍
Don’t let go of my hand🙌🏻🤍

Day 4 of becoming a vessel for Hashem for the holidays 🤍
Today I’m practicing just talking to Hashem. No siddur, no script, no specific things I need to say. Just telling Him about my day, what’s on my mind, what I’m excited about, what I need.
Because I want talking to Hashem to feel natural, not something I only do when I have the “right” words.
30 days of becoming a vessel for Hashem. Not to become perfect, but to create more space to connect with Him. #jewishgirl #hashem#30daychallange #journey#fyp
