I hope they look back and reminisce on the days mum said ‘screw the dining table, let’s go eat outside and watch the tractors’. I hope they’ll still be holding bugs and dirt without any fear. I hope they recognise that some of the best memories are the ones that cost nothing but yet they still take up the biggest space in our hearts. I hope they look back and know that their mummy and daddy did absolutely everything possible to give them a life full of experiences, adventure and with love running through the very core of it all. I hope they look back and think, ‘what a childhood we had’. If they do, then we’ve achieved the greatest thing of all.
