HELLEN KELLER

I’ve always been so amazed by tactile communication (also called Tadoma Method - I looked it up again after filming!) so have new insight into how this works absolutely blew my mind! Now that I’ve thought about it more, it seems very logical…did everyone know this but me?? 😂🙈 I would love to understand better how this works, specifically how to communicate letters that are SO similar to eachother in a tactile way. If any of you know more about this I would be so grateful to learn more! Also, Hellen Keller’s teachers name was Annie Sullivan. She deserves to be mentioned by name here!

Nothing changes if nothing changes. How has January been treating you? One of my favorite quotes is from Hellen Keller and it goes like this: Life is either a Daring Adventure or nothing at all What ever regrets we have at the end of our lives let’s choose not to have caged our dreams, not to have lived to meet the expectations of others. If failure comes, which it surely will, let us at least meet that failure on the path of our own try choosing. You are not here to make up the numbers. Bet on you! There’s pure magic there✨ - - - #onelifeliveit #onelifeliveitwell #youareenough #believeinyourself #believeinmore #comfortzones #getoutofyourcomfortzone #peoplepleaser #lifeisadaringadventureornothingatall #selfdoubt #selfdoubtbegone #innercritic #confidencebuilding #confidencecoaching

Hyped on the Hellen Keller @barbie — I have seen a lot of shade being thrown at @mattel for not making the eyes right on this Barbie and blah blah blah.. dude honestly this packaging is incredible and the Braille was done so well. The Braille on Hellens book was also cool. I have a picture of Hellen Keller and her eyes look pretty “normal” to me.. I think @barbie @mattel @nfb_voice should be proud to bring to light such an amazing woman and hero to so many blind, deaf and blind deaf children and adults around the world. I am sighted for now and I love Hellen Keller since way before I ever had a blind fiancé @asfvision all the way from her journey at @perkinsvision to books written from her travels around the world with her partner Anne Sullivan. I want to have what Anne and Hellen did and I can’t wait to see how we may change our generation through our stories and our journey.. peace and one love y’all. Also again great job @barbie 💖💖💖 * * #blind #businessowner #llc #asfvision #teamasfvision #founder #makingmoves #hustle #grind #onelove #nevergiveup #motivationalspeaker #musician #contentcreator #inspiration #motivation #rockstar #daredevil #tiktok #smallbusiness #dreamer #bigmoves #finally #startup #gofundme #paralympic #teamusa #workhardplayhard #athlete #blindcommunity
