WEDNESDAY APRIL 1st is gonna be a great night of Psych Punk, Dance Punk, and Krautrock from these bands…no foolin’! FIRST UP - @moyungband is a Brooklyn-born and based, female-led Indie/Sludge Punk band formed in mid 2024. Their music is high energy, opinionated, bi-polar, and chaotic…sometimes a raging pit, sometimes a euphoric doom head-banging ritual, and sometimes a sing-along dance party you didn’t see coming. Fuzzed-out riffs, filthy bass, and pounding drums collide with Morgan Winter’s unhinged, vulnerable vocals to create a sound that reflects the chaotic, absurd world…keeping it catchy and undeniably their own. They just released their first EP! NEXT UP - @slot.mp3 is a duo Dance Punk band from Baltimore, MD. Consisting of only bass, drum machine and vocals, SLOT delivers gritty flirty/punchy/Poppy/Sexy/Raw Pop songs with Punk Rock “in your face” delivery with pumping, heavy, danceable beats! THE HEADLINER - @nofunisaband NoFun is a Brooklyn based Psych/Punk project made up of Matt Carrool, Thommy Northcut, Marco Marino and Nick Comaratta. Though the project began as Carroll’s solo endeavor in 2021, the addition of the other three in 2023 gave a new life to the music. Together, the group is turning up the energy, solidifying their sound, and putting on an incredibly raw and unique show. TICKET LINK - In the bio, our website, stories, and highlights!
