Fix Your Fluffin’ Cats!! 🗣️
We are HUGE advocates for spay & neutering ALL cats (indoor, outdoor, community, friendly, feral, etc.) Every cat we’ve taken in has been spayed or neutered.
Fixing cats isn’t a bad thing, it helps to:
* prevent overpopulation, since in just the U.S. alone there is an estimated 60-100 million homeless cats
* Prevent uterine infections, like pyometra, in females and helps to prevent uterine/ovarian cancers
* Eliminates the risk of males getting testicular cancer
* Reduces aggression in males-> neutered male cats are way less likely to fight other cats which also reduces injures/deaths caused by it
* Eliminates cats spraying, especially if you have indoor cats that spray on your furniture or other things
* And most importantly fixed cats tend to live healthier and longer lives!
Apart from fixing our own cats we’ve also done our part in helping our community through TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release). So far we’ve helped 471 cats 😱
Imagine the impact if every cat owner did THEIR part and fixed their OWN CATS 🤯
So, once again, this is your reminder to: FIX YOUR CATS!!

Update: 💔
A rant, a plea, the reality for cats and kittens out there on the street.
2026 needs to be the year we stop denying cats and dogs access to spay/neuter.
If you care, please share and help us amplify the spay/neuter message.
Every cat advocate should be throwing their support behind solutions, not the same old bandaids.
Can’t wait to show you all this love nugget’s glow up in a couple weeks. A special thanks to Isabel for stepping up to foster. ❤️
Shelter Talk: Spay/Neuter Saves Lives 🎥🐾
In this episode of Shelter Talk, our Executive Director Steven Martinez joins Clinic Medical Director Dr. Kimberly Mann to talk about the powerful impact of our spay/neuter program.
In 2025 alone, the clinic performed 13,172 surgeries and every single one makes a difference.
💚 For individual pets: Spay/neuter helps prevent certain cancers and life-threatening infections, reduces roaming, and supports longer, healthier lives.
🏠 For shelters & rescues: Fewer unplanned litters means less overcrowding and less strain on animal welfare organizations and animal control.
🌎 For our community: Reducing the number of stray animals helps lower animal bites, vehicular trauma, and nuisance behaviors — creating a safer York County for everyone.
Spay/neuter isn’t just a service. It’s prevention. It’s compassion. It’s lifesaving work in action.
Watch now to learn how this clinic is making a measurable difference every single day. Like the merch they’re wearing in this video? Click the link in our bio! 🐶🐱✨

Okay fine it’s not my most exciting video BUT. It’s a great day to remind you to SPAY AND NEUTER IMMEDIATELY any unfixed cats you’re aware of because kittens can get pregnant as young as 4 months, cats can have up to 3 litters a year, they WILL mate with siblings (ew), and doing that math should scare you cuz that’s a lotta food and poop.
Also- in case you didn’t know boy cats have barbs on their boy-business and it’s quite painful for girl cats when they *ahem* and if that isn’t gross enough for you then I don’t know how to help ya….. but if it’s enough to motivate someone to SPAY & NEUTER then I have no regrets.
Also- there ARE resources out there. There are people who can help drive to a spay/neuter appt. If the only thing holding you or someone you know back from getting their pet fixed is cost- PLEASE reach out and happy to share options in MN and West WI. 😻😻
Did I mention to spay and neuter your pets? ASAP?! Just makin sure….

Chase and Silverback just had their hysterectomies. Taking care of them is EXHAUSTING! They still want to play play play, and kick each other in the stomachs! - Snip, snip —- still a menace! 😆 #kitten #fix Meowtown Animal Rescue of Fort Worth #fbreels

We are ALWAYS looking for more help so we can save more lives:
• Foster homes so we can take in more cats
• Volunteers to help care for cats at adoption centers
• Admin volunteers for website development, fundraising, and community outreach, social media posting, and more.

Words can’t fully capture what we’re feeling right now.
We are incredibly proud of the pet owner who made the heartbreaking decision to surrender 50 of her beloved cats. Every single one had a name. Every single one was loved deeply—and loved her right back.
But 50 is simply too many. That’s 50 spay/neuter surgeries, 50 wellness checks, 50 core vaccines, 50 rabies vaccines… and a situation that became overwhelming despite the love behind it.
No one should feel shame or guilt for asking for help. Sometimes, reaching out is the hardest and bravest thing a person can do.
We’re not magicians, and we can’t help everyone—but we will always do our best. Because behind every animal is a person, and people matter just as much as the pets they love.

We’ve been so busy in the field that we almost forgot to share—so here’s our March 2026 Month in Review for our Community Cat Spay & Neuter Program 💛
This month, we fixed an incredible 113 free-roaming community cats, and a large percentage of them were pregnant. Every single surgery represents countless lives spared from the hardships of life on the streets. This work is absolutely vital in stopping the overwhelming number of kittens born into suffering during kitten season.
We are beyond grateful to our amazing sponsors, @FixNation and Dr. Lisa Pierson (CatInfo.org) who helped partially fund these life-saving surgeries. Because of compassionate partners like them, we’re able to continue making a real impact in our community.
And of course, thank you to everyone who supports, donates, traps, transports, and believes in this mission. We truly couldn’t do this without you. 🐾
Let’s go feed some stray cats! And yes — they are all fixed. 👏 #tnrworks 📍Deerfield Beach, FL

When you come across a healthy looking cat who is spayed with no ear tip that has been hanging around at a mechanic shop for 3 wks you wonder if she is misplaced or dumped.
I see people posting lost cats all the time. Unfortunately she is not microchipped.
I didn’t know she was spayed so I brought her to Street Cat Clinic for TNR.
It was noted she was already spayed, she Received FVRCP & Rabies & an ear tip.
I have her quarantined in a room by herself but she is desperate for love & attention.
Thank you Street Cat Clinic ❤️ half of the work is done.
Do you know her owner? Have you seen any lost posts for her?
Otherwise she will be available after 2nd round of deworming, microchip & SNAP

Spay & Neuter: It’s Everyone’s Responsibility 🐾
We all care about animals.
We all want fewer homeless kittens.
We all want shelters less overwhelmed.
The truth is — the solution starts in our own neighborhoods.
There ARE low-cost spay and neuter options available locally.
✔️ Some towns offer vouchers (for example, towns like Goshen have had programs in place).
✔️ Many municipalities have TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) support programs.
✔️ There are low-cost clinics in the region, including organizations like TARA (The Animal Rights Alliance) that provide affordable services.
Before assuming there are no options — please do your due diligence:
1️⃣ Call your town hall and ask if they offer spay/neuter vouchers.
2️⃣ Ask if they have a TNR program for feral/community cats.
3️⃣ Contact a low-cost clinic and schedule an appointment.
4️⃣ Set the trap. Set the date. Follow through.
There ARE resources. They just require initiative.
We cannot continue putting the entire burden on rescues and shelters. By the time cats come to us, the cycle has already multiplied.
One unspayed female cat and her offspring can produce hundreds of kittens over time.
If you’re feeding outdoor cats — you are already caring.
Take the next step. Get them fixed.
Spaying and neutering:
✔️ Prevents suffering
✔️ Reduces roaming and fighting
✔️ Decreases spraying and yowling
✔️ Prevents litters that rescues are struggling to place
It truly is one of the most compassionate things you can do.
Please don’t wait for someone else to handle it.
Be the solution in your own backyard.
Set a trap.
Set a date.
Make the call.
