I know it looks like I’m always on the go - and technically I am. I have a lot of divine appointments and there is no shortage of mission fields. But my life only feels busy if I’m living in disobedience. Piling stuff on my schedule that isn’t from Him. Laboring over projects He hasn’t called me to work on. Saying “yes” to particular events or opportunities because they seem fun rather than because He said to go. When I stopped trying to make my own plans and just let Him fill up my schedule, life got a lot more peaceful. Walking in obedience will take you through many lives in one day. Kingdom hours. Heaven on earth. Next week, my calendar is empty besides four nights of revival and one evening football game. That doesn’t mean I have nothing else going on. It just means He hasn’t revealed it all yet. So for now, I’ll spend those hours in worship, whatever that looks like: work, homemaking, ministry, prayer, discipleship, and whatever else He leads me to each day. He’s the best boss.
