WOW!!! What a THRILL it has been to co-choreograph for this incredible group! I joined Reynolds Secondary School’s Musical Theatre Program this year for their production of Newsies and, let me just say… what an amazing show this is. 💗
The cast, crew, creatives and musicians had put together such a fantastic experience for the audience. If you’ve already got your ticket, prepare to be blown away!!! If not, I’m sorry to say it is too late for you… we are already SOLD OUT!!! What an achievement 🤩
This project has been such an incredible experience. These high school students really do justice to the true story of the Newsboy’s Strike of 1899: a story of corruption, social change, community. 📰✊🏼

Newsies is a high-energy musical based on the 1899 newsboy strike in NYC, following charismatic leader Jack Kelly as he rallies fellow newsies against unfair price hikes by publishing giants like Pulitzer. Featuring hits like "Carrying the Banner" and "Seize the Day," this underdog story highlights unity, friendship, and fighting for justice. You will be dazzled with the intense choreography and acrobatics in Disney’s Newsies! Get your tickets from a cast member, in the High School Office, or online.

Day 4 of Missoula Children’s Theatre rehearsals and these incredible young performers are already off book! 🤯✨
Today was a huge milestone as the cast ran the entire show from start to finish without scripts in hand. Lines are memorized, characters are coming to life, and the excitement is building with every rehearsal.
Tomorrow, they step into their full dress rehearsal — costumes, lights, and all the magic coming together on the Dreamland stage! 🎭
We are SO proud of their hard work and can’t wait for audiences to see Beauty Lou & the Country Beast!
