In John 4:7, we see that Jesus made the first move at the well. He intentionally waited for the Samaritan woman, offering her something far greater than gold: living water. “Jesus answered and said to her, ‘Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst…’” — John 4:14 That invitation is still open.

Sometimes it feels like everything is moving in the wrong direction and it’s easy to assume God’s silence means absence. He is not rushed and He is not late. What feels like delay may be the space where something deeper is being formed. Waiting is not easy, but moving ahead without God costs far more.

Trust that God is working out his good purposes even in our disappointment. Joseph's story reminds us that God has plans we don't always see. He is with you in the pain.

What if the hardest part of your faith is simply waiting? We say we trust God and believe He’s in control, that He works all things together for good, but do we trust Him enough to wait? Joseph waited and God used it to save his family. David waited and God made him king. Abraham waited and God built a nation. Samuel waited and God used him to shape an entire generation. Over and over again in Scripture, we see the same pattern. People endure hardship, they remain faithful, and God shows up in ways far greater than they could have planned. If you’re in a waiting season right now, don’t lose heart. God is not late, He is not absent, and He is still working. What He’s doing will be worth the wait.
