I mastered hooping without the Hoop Master Home Edition, but now I can’t imagine hooping without it. The only time I go without it is when I’m teaching a student who doesn’t have one. ahhh I am SO thankful that my @ricomahq embroidery machine is actually easy to use because literally everything else about this project was a mess 😂
First, I learned my lesson.. don’t buy random embroidery files off Etsy 😭 the bow stitch was sooo bad… so bad 😭
Then I used a new brand of thread and oooop it gave me nothing but trouble 😩
Finally… I looked away for two seconds and my nice @sisernorthamerica glitter HTV shifted 💀 Also can we talk about how much easier hooping is with my @hoopmastermightyhoop system?! Thankful for at least one thing going right 😅 BUT I learned sooo much from this sweater and I guess it’s not too bad for my first try To all the girlies who are scared to start embroidery don’t worry, it takes time but we can do this!!

You only need to measure and mark your first garment. After that, repeat the placement using the guides on your T-Square and Mighty Hoop Fixture. 👕✨ For repeat placement on all these women’s large Port Authority button-ups, I simply pulled the edge of the placket to number 4 on the Fixture and set the T-square 5.5” on the vertical centerline of the Fixture for fast, accurate, consistent hooping. ✅ 🔁 Don’t forget to rotate your design 90° before embroidering! 👔 Standard placement: - Men’s shirts: 7–9” down, 4–5” over -Women’s shirts: 5–7” down, 3–4” over At the end of the day, logo placement is up to you and your client—but precision, speed, and consistency make all the difference. I am unboxing my newest mighty hoops and the 6.5 inch fixture. Sometimes I need a little more space for my left/right chest logos. As I’m unboxing, I chat about running a successful embroidery business. These are the steps I practiced daily to get me to where I am. Mentally I feel like I have outgrown a lot of things within my business and am craving change. I am ready to grow and transition into a new parts of embroidery. Teaching on a larger scale is one of them.
