£1,000 community house project: my why 🫶🏻✨🤍… Nearly six months ago I started a project with my local homelessness charity @purfleettrust - they asked me if I wanted to renovate their latest community house & I jumped at the chance! We set ourselves a budget of £1,000 for the whole renovation which has been hard butttt with lots of second hand shopping & a little creativity - the end is in sight 🥹🤍 The house will be a home for three wonderful women (for up to two years) they’ll live there and have the help of Purfleet to learn skills like co living, managing finances & getting ready for their next chapter. There’s been countless hours and one small breakdown but with the end in sight it got me reflecting on the past six months, and I can easily say that I’d do it all again in a heartbeat… The goal was to always turn this house into a home and to offer these three wonderful women who have been in vulnerable situations a safe space that they can call home 🫶🏻💕 I truly believe that we all deserve the best chance, and whilst these women might not have had the best start up until now - I’m hoping this home can be the place they need to thrive in their next chapter 🫶🏻✨ As the end is drawing close we have just a few weeks left of the project - I truly hope you’ll follow along to see how it finishes 💕🥰 Love, Hayley xx #communityhouse #houseproject #purfleettrust #homelessness #homelesslivesmatter

House build update 🇹🇭 @villa.solum Quick walkthrough of where we’re at — construction progress, design features, and what’s coming next. We’ve had to figure out everything — visas, setting up a Thai company to buy land, schools for the kids, healthcare, cost of living, and more. If you’re thinking about relocating to Thailand or an extended stay— solo, as a couple, or with a family… 📕 Comment “Thailand” below and I’ll DM you the link to the full guide we created that covers all of it: – Visa options – How we bought land & built – What rent & property actually cost – Schools, healthcare, daily life – Infrastructure, weather, and more No fluff — just everything we wish we knew before making the move. #villasolem #villaconstruction #phuketvilla #thailandlife #islandlife #thailandhome #phukethouse #expathome #movingtothailand #livinginthailand #phuketlife #houseproject #homeconstruction
