Here are 3 things you might not want to hear about choosing paint color (but need to): 1. Stop scouring Google, Pinterest & Houzz for what a paint color “should” look like. Your unique lighting and context determine YOUR paint color perception. (FACT/go watch my reels!) Online photos are edited and reviews are subjective based on how the color looks in someone else’s space. And every device displays color differently and is limited in the amount of color it can output and display. Please stop expecting the color to look the same in your house as it does online. (Or someone else’s house!) Crowdsourcing color decisions? Almost always ends in color chaos. Might as well just throw a dart at the paint sample wall in the paint store. 2. “Cutting the formula” or “ lightening by 25%” is not doing what you think it is. This is really bad paint color advice. You’re just creating an entirely new color… not “lightening” just the part that you want to see lightened. You’re literally just making a new color that may not even be related to the original color. It’s not a soup recipe. The WHOLE entire color changes. Using facts and data I can help you really understand what’s a shade or two lighter in a paint color that already exists… 3. Crisp blinding white trim & doors is builder-basic. It can cheapen the entire look of your home. Especially with the current creamier wall colors trending. IT JUST DOESN’T GO. (remember I said “if I didn’t worry about hurting your feelings”!) Warmer whites, soft creams, or color drenching your trim? That’s what feels thoughtful and elevated in 2025…not hospital white from 1987. 😂 Tired of second-guessing your paint colors? This is what I do every single day, so you don’t have to do visual gymnastics to try to see mythical undertones, repaint rooms, or waste another weekend standing in front of swatches that you’re probably sampling wrong and are all wrong for the space. Для нас как мебельной компании это очень важно и ценно 💫 Особенно приятно, что проект оказался в подборке: «10 кухонь в мансарде, где с пользой задействован каждый сантиметр» Жизнь под крышей — это уютно, но зачастую тесновато. Однако при грамотной планировке здесь можно обустроить просторную кухню, готовить на которой будет одно удовольствие.
