Blu Blu went to his forever home yesterday as a loving husbun to Cinnamon. I cried on the way home without him and again this morning when he wasn’t in his room eagerly waiting for me to greet him. This is the most difficult part of fostering and it’s understandably not for everyone. Foster grief is a real thing. Still, I would choose this journey again in a heartbeat, knowing that I’m helping to save the lives of these precious, often misunderstood animals. I hope I have inspired some of you to adopt, foster, or rescue innocent animals in need. I hope I also inspire you to get your bunny a friend from your local shelter/rescue. Most importantly, thank you for your continued encouragement and support. Vespa got her name due to her splayed back right leg -- it's like a little kickstand! It doesn't bother her at all and she binkies with the best of them, cleverly figuring out if she leans against something she can easily wash her face with both paws.
