It official the @fridaypatterncompany - Ilford jacket is complete! We did a sneak peak of this a few weeks ago and a you guys were very excited to see it done - Sooo here it is! Pawel has done a beautiful job making it (as always) and really enjoyed the process of this fab pattern! For those of you who are local this shirt is now on display in our shop in Oswestry! We’ve actually used an interiors weight fabric called ‘Mandu’ which is stunning Linen viscose blend and we are biased but think is a dreamy fabric and pattern combination! (Pattern and fabric both available online and in store!) More content of Pawel and his new make coming soon but for now I hope you enjoy this video of the process! P.S Does anyone else get the button hole fear because for me this is very real!! What a combo! ​Both pieces were sewn up using the most beautiful textured, embroidered cotton from @pigeonwishes. And I've only just realised the I'm wearing all Friday Pattern Company pieces (including my Ilford Jacket)! Our 8 and 21 wale stretch corduroys are made from sustainable cotton, with just a bit of stretch and great recovery. The 21 wale is incredibly velvety and smooth, whereas the 8 wale has that truly characteristic corduroy look. This classic fabric is perfect for pants, shirts, and jackets. We have a wide range of colour choices, to suit any look you’re going for. In the solids there are rich shades of green, grey, burgundy, and copper.
