Finding the right shoes for John isn’t always easy. He has very wide feet, a large bunion, and had major spinal surgery several years ago, so comfort and support are really important for him—especially with some travel coming up. Today we went to Fleet Feet, where they used their 3D foot scanning technology to measure John’s feet and help us find the best fit for his walking style. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, explaining everything and bringing out options that would support his feet properly. John came in hoping for green shoes… but the best fit ended up being these—and honestly, comfort matters more than color when you’re planning lots of walking.
