Finding a rental in Melbourne. While I’m still in NZ. As a self-employed girly 😌 #movingtoaustralia #movingabroad #australia #melbourne #nz
✨ Two weeks to go… Australia, we’re coming for you ✨ Somehow we’re already at the “holy heck, this is actually happening” stage of the move. Here’s where we’re at: 🇦🇺 Visas granted 🏡 House sold ✈️ Flights booked 🚆 Train booked 🧭 Relocation agent officially on the case …and honestly, there’s still a mountain of life admin waiting for us, but we’re rolling with it. This whole journey feels big, brave, messy, magical and I can’t wait to bring you along for every step. If you’re curious about anything (the process, the chaos, the emotions, the logistics), ask away. I’m an open book and we’re in this together. Australia countdown: T‑14 days. Let’s go. ✨
7 months in and doing a little reflection… Moving countries isn’t easy- and it’s not supposed to be, but one day at a time, one month at a time, it’s starting to feel more like “home”. It takes effort from everyone, but for us, it’s worth it for the adventure. And remember ,sometimes the hard things are the ones that change your life the most 😉 If your thinking about moving to Australia, I share our honest experiences so follow along & drop any questions you might have ❤️
We were originally just going to do a Q&A… but the questions were so good we’ve turned it into a mini podcast series instead 👀 This is part 1.. and honestly this was one of the hardest parts of the move. Everyone sees the exciting side of moving countries… not this bit. If you’ve got anything you want to ask about the move, life in Australia, or the salon, drop it below and we’ll work it into the next parts 🙌 Part 2 is how we actually ended up coming here… 👉 Follow along if you want to see how it all played out #australiamove #movingabroad #expatlife #perthlife #newbeginnings
Nobody talks about this part of moving countries. The part where everyone around you is sad… and you’re already mentally decorating your new apartment 😬 I’ve moved from Italy to Austria, to The Netherlands, back to Austria, to Belgium, to New Zealand, and now soon to Australia. And every single time, I’ve felt guilty for being excited. Like my excitement somehow made their sadness less valid. Or like it meant I didn’t care. Because - don’t get me wrong - I feel sad too but at the same time, preparing for a move usually takes months (if not years…). And if you aren’t more excited than sad, you don’t have the energy to keep going. After all these moves, I’ve learned that the two feelings aren’t in competition. They’re both…just there 🤗 #movingcountries #movingtoaustralia #founderlife #melbourne
Here’s how week 2 of the big move to Australia has gone, learn from our mistakes😅 #livinginaustralia #lifeinaustralia #movetoaustralia #contentcreator #australia
We are moving 🌏🦘 again… third times the charm, right? I guess technically this will be the 5th time relocating overseas if you count moving to Aussie and then moving back to NZ.. Anyways a lot to do, and a lot has happened since I recorded this.. like I said in my previous post I’ve been sitting on this information for a few months now.. So if you’re interested in moving abroad with 2 kids in tow, mining life, Reno’s (while we finish this house off here in NZ), ADHD things, mum life, fitness(once I have time again), all the things that are my crazy wonderful life then hit the follow button and let’s do this! #mumlife #nzmum #ausmum
Everyone talks about moving to Australia like it’s just sunshine, beaches and a better life… But the truth? It’s not always that simple. There are parts people don’t post about. The overwhelm when you first land. The moments you question everything. The things you wish someone had told you before you got on that flight. And THIS is where the real advice is! Not the polished posts… but the honest experiences. If you’ve already made the move what’s ONE thing no one told you before you came? If you’re thinking about it read every single comment on this post. This is the stuff that actually prepares you 🧡💜 #movetoaustralia #expatlife #mumsinaustralia #relocationadvice #mumssupportingmums

Packing up my whole life to move to Australia and somehow the hardest part is deciding who to be when I get there 😵‍💫 #movingabroad #movingtoaustralia #businessowner #melbourne #australia

Your ability to build a life… not just move your life. Building your life from scratch is hard. New places, new faces, new ways of living, new language. In those quiet moments you question everything… When you don’t have your people When life feels unfamiliar When you question if you’ve made the right decisions That’s the part that will either make you… or break you. The ones who thrive here aren’t the ones with the “perfect move” They’re the ones who put themselves out there, find their people and create a life that actually feels like home. Not just a new postcode… a new life. Save this if you’re planning your move Send it to someone who needs this reminder 💜🧡 #movetoaustralia #australia2026 #expatlife #pomsinaus #irishinaustralia
