Just a glimpse of my story. Once upon a Time, I tried to be an import model. 😮 I was so lost and couldn't seem to fit in. I quit that fast and I went to Phlebotomy school (blood sucker). After years of sticking people day in and day out, my life felt meaningless. I LOVED nails so I took the plunge to go to Nail School, worked for several nail salons, made alot of money, yet I still felt unfulfilled. I kept having this tug in my heart that I was meant for more. I dreamed of having my own salon one day, so I started small and opened up a little suite. I then went on to open my first family salon. When we hired our first artist, it immediately felt so natural when I trained her. I didn't understand it back then, but looking back, it was preparing me for who I am today. Throughout my journey as a Nail Tech and Business Owner/Educator, there were ALOT of mistakes, trials and errors, and even though I wanted to give up, I kept pushing through. Instead of turning all my failures and challenges into excuses, I looked at them as opportunities for growth. One thing kept leading to the next, and here I am today, educating Nail Artists and helping them become the best version of themselves. If you're still unsure what your purpose is, no matter your circumstances or what you're going through, keep going and soon, you'll find your God given talents. Start with where you are and what you have. Little by little, everything will start to unfold. No matter how long it takes you, you'll eventually get there. My purpose is to be a blessing to others by sharing any knowledge I've gained in my journey. Nails is just one avenue for me to do so. I wouldn't have been able to get here if I didn't try to be an import model or phlebotomist😛 I thank God everyday for those experiences and I'm looking forward to what He has lined up for me next😘 Are you ready for the next Chapter of your Life?
