One of the ways I love to prep inchies is this: paint watercolor into a wet circle, then add a second color, move it around a bit, and see what happens. It’s an inexact, playful, and soothing process. Colouring the Travel Inchies Stamp Set with Distress Inks. These little squares have different travel themed images from around the world. @rachelgreig stamped it using Archival Jet Black ink onto specialty stamping paper. Heat dry to make sure the ink is fully dry before watercoloring the images with Distress Inks: Tumbled Glass, Scattered Straw and Iced Spruce Distress. [Design Team Project with the very nice kit called "Vintage Collage Papers” from @bunteule] I needed a small box to store the inchies that I made recently. I had this black box I received may years ago and I used the kit to decorate it. I’m quite happy with the way it turned out. Covering a box is really fun to do. But also quite tricky. Here are three tips I learned from doing it in the past: -  Use a strong adhesive. I used strong double-sided tape for some part of the box and Art Glitter Glue for the others. -  Make sure to measure everything before committing and glueing the paper. -  Use a box that has some wiggle room between the lid and the main body of the box. As you will had some layers of paper, if the lid is tight it won’t be possible to close the box afterwards. The one I did here was really the limit. -  If you are going to manipulate the box, make sure to cover it with a layer of Mod Podge to protect the design of the paper. #mixedmedia   #craftpaper #craftpassion #handmadecrafted #mixedmedia #rolodexcards #collage #artastherapy #mixedmediaart
