This has been an issue I’ve run into several times throughout my dating life. At 26 years old, I know what I want (and don’t want) and so do the men. We want different things and we deserve better than what we can give each other and that’s okay 🧡
To anyone who wants to say “What if you regret not having kids?” I acknowledge that as a possibility. But I’d rather make the “mistake” of not having kids than the mistake of having kids and end up regretting my decision, because at least I’d be the only person suffering as a result of my decision rather than some innocent child who didn’t ask to be here.

Not every relationship is meant to end… sometimes, it’s just asking for a reset. 💔➡️❤️🩹
We live in a world where people are quick to say “leave” at the first sign of difficulty.
But the truth is… not all distance means disconnection.
Not all conflict means incompatibility.
Sometimes, it’s two people who love each other…
…but are tired, triggered, misunderstood, and carrying unhealed wounds into the relationship.
5 Signs Your Relationship Needs a Reset, Not a Breakup:
1️⃣ You still care deeply — but keep hurting each other
The love is there… but so are the patterns that keep causing pain.
2️⃣ Communication feels broken, not absent
You’re still trying to talk… it just turns into arguments, silence, or frustration.
3️⃣ You miss how things used to feel
Not because it was perfect — but because there was connection, effort, and softness.
4️⃣ Small issues turn into big fights
It’s not about the dishes, texts, or timing… it’s about deeper emotions that were never expressed.
5️⃣ You both want it to work… but don’t know how
There’s no lack of love — just a lack of clarity, tools, and emotional safety.
A breakup ends the connection.
A reset rebuilds it.
A reset looks like:
✨ Honest conversations without ego
✨ Taking accountability for your triggers
✨ Healing individually and together
✨ Setting new boundaries
✨ Choosing each other again — with awareness
Because sometimes…
it’s not the person who is wrong for you.
It’s the version of both of you that hasn’t healed yet.
Love doesn’t always fail.
Sometimes it just gets buried under ego, silence, past pain, and unmet needs.
And when both people are willing…
a reset can turn pain into growth, and distance into deeper connection. 🤍

Taleiya Armani breaks down the importance of addressing #incompatibility in #relationships
Amani na baraka @taleiya_armani 👊🏿🖤🤎🧡
Incompatibility is a significant reason relationships struggle and ultimately fail. We're conditioned to believe that love and being a good person guarantee successful relationships. Yet, this mindset frequently results in painful relationships. It's essential to distinguish between loving someone and being compatible with them. Incompatibility arises when two individuals are fundamentally incompatible, preventing harmonious coexistence. This issue isn't solely due to differences but rather the expectation of harmony in specific roles or positions. Partnerships, especially, often expose incompatibility through conflicting attachment needs. For instance, one partner may crave a deeply committed relationship, while the other prefers a more independent partnership.

💔 Why Relationships Die from Distance 💔
Relationships don’t usually end because of one big fight. They die in silence. They die when partners slowly stop turning toward each other and instead, drift apart.
Here’s why distance is a relationship killer:
🚫 Lack of Emotional Connection – When you stop sharing thoughts, feelings, and daily experiences, you stop feeling known by your partner. Without that emotional glue, love fades.
🚫 Routine Over Romance – Too much time alone turns into separate routines. You become more like roommates than lovers, and intimacy takes a backseat.
🚫 Avoidance Becomes the Norm – Instead of facing small issues, distance allows resentment to simmer in silence. When you finally talk, the disconnect is too deep to repair.
🚫 The “Outsourcing” Effect – When you aren’t getting attention and affection from your partner, you might unconsciously seek it elsewhere—work, friends, social media, even a new person.
📢 The Hard Truth:
Love doesn’t die in one explosive moment. It dies when two people stop choosing each other—every single day.

Incompatibility is a MYTH!
True compatibility lies in our willingness to understand, accept, and grow with our partners.
We're all unique individuals with our own quirks, preferences, and backgrounds. Instead of focusing on our differences as roadblocks, let's view them as opportunities for growth and connection.
Remember, it's through open communication, empathy, and mutual respect that we bridge the gaps and create a bond.
It's about finding common ground and embracing the beauty of our shared experiences.

If only accepting #incompatibility would be so easy, with all the work they say you should do daily in relationships lol... you live with hope thinking we'll work through this💪,
If it would be easy... would save us going back to cycles in which more and more devastation happened for both parties😞💔❤️😪
Falling in love with the idea who can someone be/their potential, rather than in who they are today is the trickiest place to be.
Emotional pain guaranteed!
