Released Wabi Slider last week with @indosole. Designed as an elevated, day-to-day sandal inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi - crafted to bring a sense of calm, ease, and quiet simplicity into every step. Designing for Indosole has given me a strong sense of purpose. It feels meaningful to be involved with a company that truly walks the walk when it comes to responsible creation. The upper fabric comes from a local manufacturer in Surabaya. Even though most global textile production is led by China and India, @pable.id stands out as the only manufacturer in Indonesia using recycled yarn to recreate their fabrics.
