In parts of Colombia, some towns are connected by an old cable system that locals use like a lifeline.
Two fixed ropes run in opposite directions, and people use a makeshift harness to send everything across, including food, supplies, small animals, and even kids in backpacks. The cable is reportedly around 50 years old, about 800 meters long and roughly 300 meters high, and the ride takes around 30 seconds each way, saving locals an estimated 2 to 3 hours of walking.

⏰ Interesting Fact: The alarm clock is older than you think.
Long before smartphones and snooze buttons, ancient civilizations were already engineering ways to wake up on time. Greek philosopher Plato reportedly used a water clock system that triggered sound when the water reached a certain level — one of the earliest known “alarm” concepts.
In medieval Europe, people relied on town bells… or even “knocker-ups” — workers who walked the streets tapping windows with long sticks to wake people before sunrise. Imagine outsourcing your alarm to a human. 😭
By the 19th century, mechanical alarm clocks became common in homes. Then electricity made them louder and more reliable. Fast forward to today — smartphones, smartwatches, sleep trackers, and digital assistants now manage our mornings with custom tones, vibrations, and even sleep-cycle detection.
From water clocks to AI assistants, the alarm evolved into more than a wake-up tool — it became a symbol of routine, discipline, and modern life’s nonstop rhythm.

Am I the only one who thought Hagrid was real??! 😭
The Harry Potter series is a fantasy saga by J. K. Rowling that centers on Harry, a young boy who discovers he has magical abilities and enters the wizarding school of Hogwarts. What starts as a story about friendship, learning, and wonder gradually unfolds into a much larger conflict between light and darkness, as Harry pieces together the hidden truth behind his own history.
The setting is carefully built, with spells, enchanted creatures, and a secret magical society existing alongside the ordinary world. The story explores ideas like loyalty, discrimination, bravery, and personal choice, giving the narrative weight and emotion beyond the fantasy elements.
The books later expanded into hugely popular films, theme parks, games, and stage shows. For many people, the series became closely tied to childhood and adolescence, offering escape, warmth, and the message that courage often comes from everyday people.
That’s interesting…

At first, it just looks like a big fish eating a small fish.
Simple, right?
But this was generated using Seedance 2.0, and the way it handles motion, lighting, and underwater physics is what makes it interesting.
The bigger fish moves with weight. The water reacts naturally. The smaller fish doesn’t just disappear, the whole scene feels intentional.
It’s more than a cool clip.
It’s a reminder of how fast AI video is evolving. A few years ago, underwater scenes like this would glitch, warp, or completely fall apart.
Now it holds together. Frame by frame.
And low key… the “big fish eat small fish” metaphor feels deeper when you think about tech, business, and AI itself.
So here’s the question:
Is AI the big fish right now? Or are we still in the small fish phase?

The iconic helicopter scene from Captain America: Civil War starring Chris Evans as Captain America became one of the most legendary superhero moments of the decade, showing Cap holding a helicopter with one arm while gripping a building with the other to display his peak super-soldier strength; while Evans did perform many of the close-up shots himself—especially the intense arm-flex moments after undergoing serious physical training—the stunt was safely executed using a combination of rigged equipment, professional stunt doubles for the more dangerous wide shots, and visual effects to enhance the tension, making the scene not only technically impressive but also a massive pop culture moment that inspired countless gym-goers and became a viral symbol of strength and determination.

Geobag placement is a common river engineering method used to reinforce shorelines and slow erosion. Crews fill large geotextile fabric bags with sand or dredged sediment, then position them in the water to form a heavy protective barrier. Over time, these bags help stabilize riverbanks and reduce damage from strong currents and seasonal flooding.
These geotextile bags are designed to be tough and permeable, meaning they can hold the fill material while still allowing water to pass through. Once they settle, they act like a man made foundation that can support additional sediment buildup. This is why they are widely used in land reclamation and embankment protection projects.
In this video, filmed in Sirajganj District, Bangladesh, the crew is using a barge to drop massive sediment filled geobags directly into the water along the shoreline. The explosive splash happens because each bag is extremely heavy and hits the surface with major force. It looks chaotic, but it is a controlled method of building up and protecting the riverbank.

🎬: Loki Season 1
All for some “paperweights” 💔 One of the biggest “wow” moments in Marvel history happens when Loki breaks into the TVA evidence room expecting to find the Tesseract, only to discover a drawer full of Infinity Stones being treated like worthless trinkets. When Casey casually says some of them are used as paperweights, it completely changes everything we thought we knew about power in the MCU. For Loki, it’s a shocking realization that the stones he believed were the ultimate power don’t even work outside their timelines, showing just how massive the TVA truly feels small for the first time.

Liquid from the shaken bottle strikes the brick at high speed, and the expanding carbonation forces the soda into the tiny pores and joints within the masonry. This rapid penetration spreads the fluid laterally beneath the surface rather than simply running off.
As the soda moves through the capillary network inside the brick, it begins loosening surface grime and dissolving small amounts of mineral buildup already present in the material. The action is driven by pressure from dissolved gas rapidly escaping, not by the soda creating or releasing new substances.
The mild acids in Coca Cola can contribute to breaking down certain residues over time, but the immediate effect seen here is mostly mechanical. Carbonation pressure combined with the naturally porous structure of fired clay allows the liquid to infiltrate the brick more aggressively than water alone.

😂 Interesting fact:
Family Guy (1999–present) — The animated sitcom was actually cancelled twice by Fox Broadcasting Company during its early years because of low TV ratings.
But the show refused to die. Massive DVD sales and strong reruns on Adult Swim convinced the network to bring it back in 2005. Creator Seth MacFarlane even voices several major characters including Peter, Stewie, and Brian, meaning half the chaos in the show basically comes from one very busy human throat. Humans cancel things quickly. Money usually resurrects them even faster.
