Iterations. Over time. Diluting the message. Obscuring the original. 🫢
Hugh Grant really is in his freak show era! 😵💫
Did you know? 😯
The music at the end credits is performed by Sophie Thatcher (who played Sister Barnes in the movie), and is a cover of the 1973 version of “Knocking on Heavens Door” set to the tune of “Fade into You” by Mazzy Star. 💫
A nod to the fact that “Creep” by Radiohead is a reiteration
“The Air That I Breathe” by The Hollies, previously mentioned by Grant in the movie. 🎶
That song is actually *also* a reiteration, coming from Albert Hammond’s 1972 song of the same name, adding more to the theory of everything being different renditions of the same source material. 🎸

Religions aren’t board games. They aren’t designed in a box. They’re shaped by history, culture, conflict, survival. But the film isn’t trying to prove him right. It’s showing how easily belief can be dismantled when someone frames it just convincingly enough. Not faith vs logic. Control vs perception. And suddenly, it’s not about religion anymore. It’s about who gets to define the rules.

Do you know if you can replicate yourself? Like, exactly? 🤔
It's a really important skill to have as a voice over talent.🎙
You need it for drop ins and pick ups, and it's a pivotal component of the iterative process of building a read. 🎯
To test yourself, try this exercise:
1️⃣ Record a single sentence. It can be anything, but you want it to be at least 20 words.
2️⃣ Repeat the read, aiming for an exact replica.
3️⃣ Put both reads into your DAW and compare the shape of the waveforms.
4️⃣ Play them at the same time and compare the audio.
5️⃣ Take note of the differences.
6️⃣ Listen to your first read, then immediately record the line, again aiming for an exact replica.
7️⃣ Go back to 3️⃣ and run the comparison.
Repeat as many times as you want. 🥳
I highly recommend making it part of your regular practice. 👌
This is most effective when done wearing closed back headphones for recording and playback, and vital when you're working on fine nuances. 🎧
It's also most effective if you're nice to yourself and bring both curiosity and a learners mindset to the task. 🤩
Got questions? Ask them in the comments. ☺

ITERATIONS — @signalfestival (Prague)
Urban growth is an algorithm: copy, expand, repeat.
Mapped onto St. Ludmila Basilica, Iterations transforms the facade into a generative cityscape—modules duplicating, spirals unfolding, and light moving like networks of data, traffic, and power. Hypnotic patterns that slowly reveal the cost of endless repetition.
A projection about how our cities evolve… and where that loop can lead.
Huge thanks to @_martinposta_ and the @signalfestival team

AI-Enhanced Parametric Animation - 3
Utilized AI to create #dramatic rendered scenes of this #growth #sculpture, designed using #grasshopper3D. The challenging aspect of this #exploration was transforming the #intricately overlapped mesh into a visually #pleasing #art form, using a harmonious blend of #colors and geometric #nomenclature. As for the background, I allowed AI to take the reins, tweaking the seed and CFG scale through approximately 30 #iterations until we achieved a backdrop that complemented the #design without overpowering it 🤖🎨
