When I made this song, I was performing all over the world and feeling the pressure of not knowing if I would ever be able to top “A Bar Song”. Other songs were being pitched from everywhere with references to “Jack Daniels” and being at a “bar.” And I said to everyone around me that the song I wanted to put out next should reach the people who I felt were just a bit out of reach. The ones who felt unheard or unseen and were going through things that maybe hurt so much they couldn’t share with others. And although I had an amazing year and had a lot to celebrate, I remembered around the world there were probably so many others who couldn’t say the same. This tour has been so emotional. Thank y’all for helping me restore my faith in what I do. We never know how much someone is truly going through. Let’s show each other empathy and compassion. These shows have been so healing for me and I hope for everyone in attendance. Right now America needs to heal more than anything. We need to understand each other, and evolve, and know we all want and need the same things. Love, happiness, health, safety, and freedom. I love y’all. See you on The Great American Road Show! ❤️

Em coletiva de imprensa sobre os casos de contaminação por metanol, nesta segunda-feira (6/10), o governador Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos) disse, em tom de brincadeira, que “no dia que começarem a falsificar Coca-Cola, eu vou me preocupar”. A fala ocorreu enquanto o governador mencionava as empresas do ramo que se mobilizaram em força-tarefa contra a falsificação das bebidas. Segundo o secretário da Segurança Pública de São Paulo, Guilherme Derrite (PP), a adição etanol contaminado com metanol para a fabricação de bebidas falsas é a principal hipótese das investigações da Polícia Civil. “Estavam aqui os fabricantes. Todos os maiores fabricantes, players do Brasil, estavam na mesa. Que fabricam as bebidas mais famosas, que são objetos de fabricação, Jack Daniels, Johnnie Walker. Enfim, todas essas bebidas que são objetos de falsificação. Não vou me aventurar aqui nessa área porque não é minha praia, tá certo? No dia que começarem a falsificar Coca-Cola, eu vou me preocupar. Ainda bem que ainda não chegaram nesse ponto”. Antes da entrevista, o governador reuniu o Gabinete de Crise montado para o enfrentamento dos casos de intoxicação por metanol. Estavam presentes representantes das pastas de Saúde, Segurança Pública, Justiça e Cidadania, Desenvolvimento Econômico, Fazenda e Planejamento. Também participaram representantes do ramo de bebidas, entre eles: Brown-Forman (Jack Daniel’s), Bacardi, Diageo (Johnnie Walker e Smirnoff), PernordRicard (Absolut) e Beam Suntory (Jim Beam). Os fabricantes deverão ajudar o governo do estado no treinamento de agentes públicos e comerciantes para a identificação de falsificações. While it’s a common benchmark, it often sits in a "no-man's land" physiologically for many runners. Before you write that next workout, ask yourself: 1) What physiological function am I targeting? 2) Is this pace the most efficient way to reach that goal? 3) Does the duration of the interval match the demands of the race? Training should be intentional, not just traditional.

BIG news: @McDonalds is ending a number of woke DEI policies today. Now let me tell you what’s changing and how it happened. 3 days ago I told McDonald’s that I’d be doing a story on woke policies there. Today they’ve announced the following changes: • Hiring: They will END their diversity “goals” for how many of each race they hire. Many (myself included) have referred to these types of “goals” as quotas because these “goals” often operate as quotas that discriminate against white job applicants. • They’ll no longer participate in the HRC’s woke Corporate Equality Index scoring system that forces the trans agenda into the workplace in exchange for a perfect score. They also won’t participate in other 3rd party surveys. • Supplier diversity: They’re ENDING the DEI pledge for their supply chain. That means no diversity quotas or “goals” will exist for how they choose or prioritize suppliers. Focus will now be on merit. • Their diversity team will be “evolving” this year into simply an “inclusion” team. I explain in the video how I feel about this. As our first corporate flip of 2025 I just want to say, HAPPY NEW YEAR! We’ve now changed policy at companies worth well over $2.3 Trillion dollars, with many millions of employees who have better workplace environments as a result. Jack Daniels Glazed Smashed Burgers... come check it out @onlyslaggin👇 To make the sauce you will need: 1 head garlic (roasted is best) 1 tablespoon olive oil 1⅓ cups dark brown sugar 1 cup pineapple juice ⅔ cup water ¼ cup teriyaki sauce 1 tablespoon soy sauce 3 tablespoons lemon juice 3 tablespoons minced white onion 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon crushed pineapple ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper Combine the sugar, pineapple juice, water, teriyaki and soy in a pan before adding the garlic. Whisk to combine then add the remaining ingredients, mix, simmer and reduce by half. Add mayo, to toast the burgers and then top with cheese, sautéed onions and streaky bacon.
