#johnholt

A partir dos anos 1970, consolidou uma sólida carreira solo, emplacando hits como “Stick By Me” e “Police in Helicopter”, e ajudando a popularizar o reggae romântico, especialmente no Reino Unido.

February 7 – Celebrating Bob Marley’s 81st Earth Strong
Bob Marley’s music is truly mystical. It carries a prophetic message that continues to grow with time, revealing deeper meaning with every generation. This is part of the enduring genius of Bob’s work.
Here we perform “Guiltiness,” the powerful 1977 release that speaks as clearly today as it did then. Harrison begins with an improvisation that sets the theme and spirit of the song before guiding us through the verse that tells the timeless story of the rich feeding off the poor. Yet the message reminds us that in the end, their fruits and their works will be in vain, and guiltiness will be upon them.
Captured live in Kauai as we honored Bob’s 81st Earth Strong — a celebration of music, truth, and consciousness.

My version of Burnin’ And Lootin’ by The Wailers, which I feel still strongly resonates in today’s world.
Strongly inspired by the live version at the Roxy (Hollywood) in ’76.
