The City of Johns Creek is excited to unveil the official name of the exciting new park currently under construction behind City Hall… Introducing…The Boardwalk at Town Center! Last fall, the City invited the community to help name the new park in the Johns Creek Town Center. After receiving hundreds of suggestions from our residents and feedback from the Recreation & Parks Advisory Committee, City Council selected The Boardwalk at Town Center as the name of the new park. This state-of-the-art space will feature: An amphitheater with terraced seating for concerts and events 15-foot-wide trails and pedestrian plazas Pond overlooks and boardwalks connecting scenic water features The amenities will be connected by a boardwalk to a three-acre constructed wetland designed to improve water quality and provide regional stormwater detention for future development in the Town Center area. What’s currently happening at The Boardwalk at Town Center? Crews are hard at work: Building terraced seating walls Pouring the boardwalk deck over the ponds Planting trees, shrubs, and installing a littoral shelf (a natural water filter) Starting construction on the amphitheater’s seawall, pillars, and deck structure Construction is expected to be completed in summer 2026, and we can’t wait to welcome you to this incredible new destination. I’ve lived in Atlanta for over 20 years, and this was my first time experiencing a Persian bakery with a full high tea service ☕️🌸 Even though it’s high tea, it didn’t feel intimidating or stuffy at all. Just elegant, romantic, and the kind of place that makes you slow down. We did the high tea with Persian rose tea and saffron rock candy, plus a pistachio latte that was nutty and perfectly balanced. We also added the shakshuka and avocado butter croissant, which turned it into a legit brunch moment 🥐🍳 The sweets really stood out. Persian desserts lean more on saffron and rosewater instead of heavy honey syrups, so everything feels fragrant and softer. Dubai chocolate strawberry cup 🍓🍫 Baklava rose 🌹 Kunafa with saffron ice cream ✨ Exactly my wife’s flavor profile.
