Johnno Wilson has never seen “Dirty Dancing,” but he rewrote it! Does he nail this 80s classic?
There’s the girl. There’s the guy. The guy is… Zach Morris? There’s the bald dad that wasn’t targeting Kyle at all when casting.
Hear and watch Johnno’s full script wherever you podcast.
Johnno and host Kyle Ayers are joined by Greg Berman!

If you’re a dreamer as well… listen to this.
David Lynch, channeling John Ford, says it plainly:
“This business will tear you apart.”
Here’s what most people don’t tell you about the film industry:
talent isn’t what breaks people — isolation is.
Most filmmakers don’t fail because they aren’t good enough.
They burn out because they’re building alone, without access, guidance, or real relationships.
Sustainability in film doesn’t come from one hit.
It comes from community, structure, and being in rooms where real conversations happen.
That’s why we built the American Film Association —
and why the AFA Summit exists.

"America is not the greatest country in the world anymore."
In one of the most famous monologues in TV history, The Newsroom’s Will McAvoy destroys the blind patriotism of a college student with a brutal reality check. When asked "Why is America the greatest country in the world?", he doesn't give a generic answer about freedom. Instead, he drops the hard facts: We are 7th in literacy, 27th in math, 22nd in science, 49th in life expectancy, and we lead the world in only three things:
Number of incarcerated citizens per capita.
Number of adults who believe angels are real.
Defense spending.
His point isn't to hate on the country, but to wake it up. "The first step in solving any problem is recognizing there is one." Blind optimism doesn't fix problems; brutal honesty does.
For entrepreneurs, this is a lesson in radical transparency. If your business is failing, or your product isn't the best, lying to yourself won't fix it. You have to admit you aren't the "greatest" before you can do the work to actually become the greatest.

AladinoTV Exclusive — One-on-One with Nick Davis and Jane Meldensohn
NEW YORK — AladinoTV sat down with filmmakers Nick & Jane to discuss their powerful documentary “You Have to Be There”, a film capturing the raw, unfiltered emotion of shared human experience.
Davis describes the project as “A group of unknown actors who were on a production of the Musical Godspell.”
“Which was sort of hippie dippy musical about the life of Jesus” he told Aladino TV.
The documentary blends intimate interviews with cinéma vérité-style footage, immersing audiences in moments that can’t be replicated through a screen. Davis says the title reflects the film’s core message: some experiences demand physical presence and emotional openness.
Early viewers have praised the documentary’s authenticity and emotional depth. As festival buzz builds, “You Have to Be There” is resonating with audiences seeking stories that remind them why real-life moments still matter.
