I have met Julius Caesar! (Well he spells it Ceaser). Sometimes the side story is as interesting as the original report. I interviewed Julius for a story on bus driver shortages in Chicago. But when I learned his name, I had to know more!

The chaotic Roman calendar before 45 BC had only 355 days, misaligning with the actual seasons. Priests manipulated it for political gains, causing a drift of several months—imagine celebrating harvest festivals in the winter! Enter Julius Caesar, who decided to end this madness. With the guidance of an Alexandrian astronomer, he formulated a bold plan to create a solar calendar that would stand the test of time—destroying the old system with a grand reform! In 46 BC, a staggering 445-day year was born, designed to realign the calendar once and for all. Then, on January 1, 45 BC, the Julian calendar officially emerged, a gift that would govern time for over 1,600 years! Fascinated by the power of timekeeping? Since I am obsessed with inking , here is my 12th one. Something which represents me in every way. The wings representing the journey of being a resilient with a touch of Julius Ceaser bragging about his victory. And who else other than @supriyo_helheimtattoo to transform my vision into reality. 😌 And god after my 3rd one, this is the one which was so painful I literally had to make a deal with Satan himself 😂 But okay it was worth it. 🫶🏻 Editing Courtesy: @_mr.dasss_official / @_vision_of_dasss_ #tattooed #inkedandproud #inkedforlife #wingsforlife #venividivici #explorepage #fypシ #aesthetic

#RuhusAwdamet 🎊🎉🥂🇪🇷🇪🇹🌻💛 Happy New Year to all my beautiful Habesha brothers & sisters! It’s a new year‼️ This year will be an overflow of blessings for all of us!! Time for new levels! New adventures & NEW accomplishments!! Time for the Ascension!!! This is LITERALLY the beginning of a NEW KINGDOM!🌟🥂 As we walk into this NEW YEAR during this FULL MOON energy in Pisces all of the signs are showing you that we are experiencing a SERIOUS SHIFT IN POWER IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW! Its time for the RIGHTFUL HEIRS TO WAKE UP & take a seat in the palace!! A lot of spells have been put on this western world by a matrix created by dark forces to create illusions & misrepresentation of WHATS REAL!! So today & everyday It’s important to me that I shine light on the things I have learned from my ancestors outside of the Western matrix & THE KNOWLEDGE WE ALL LEARN IN OUR TRIBES THAT HAVE BEEN FORGOTTEN!! So for clarity you have to understand we are NOT in the year 2022 We now are in fact entering into the year 2015 according to the habesha Geez calendar! (Also according to the Mayan calendar) Truth is the western world has truly altered the sense of time & truth of everything that it’s so Important YOU RELEARN your tru HIS-STORY! So if your understand our TRUE STORY you will know that Ethiopia /Eritrea is the ONLY African country that was NOT colonized & that we do not follow the Gregorian calendar that the Roman church amended in 525 A.D. Our Calendar has 13 months. 12 of which have 30 days, the last month Pagume, has 5-6 days (leap year) While the Gregorian calendar kings added extra days to the months bearing names like July & August named after Julius Ceaser & Augustus! When you dive deeper into TRU-STORY yu can remove the blind fold & be aligned with the frequency of the MAMA EARTH & HER UNIVERSE TO BE ABLE TO BEAR HER FRUIT! Sept marks the new year due to the changes! The blooming of bidens macroptera flowers or Adey Abeba symbolises the end of the rainy season & the start of the sunny days! The 🌻 is represented in celebration 🌻To all my global family: We wish you a very happy new year - also known as Enkutatash (እንቁጣጣሽ). #habeshanewyear #2015
