As always here’s everything you need to know to complete this step in your build (save this post for later) How to Install Kilmat for a Quieter Van Build: 1. Prep Surfaces: Clean all metal surfaces with soap, water, and isopropyl alcohol for maximum adhesion. 2. Measure & Cut: Use a utility knife to cut Kilmat sheets into manageable sizes (around 10x10 inches). This makes handling and applying easier, especially in tighter areas. 3. Apply & Roll: Peel the backing, press Kilmat onto surfaces, then use a roller to press down firmly, focusing on edges and corners for a good seal. 4. Double Layer for Noisy Spots: For areas like wheel wells, add a second layer to really cut down on vibrations.
