One year ago today, Kingda Ka gave its final rides 👑🐯 . . . #🎢 #rollercoaster #rollercoasters #coasters #amusementpark #themepark #thrillride #ride #rollercoastervideo #coastervideo #themeparkphotography #themeparklife #themeparkworldwide #rollercoasterenthusiast #sixflags #sixflagsgreatadventure #kingdaka #eltoro #newjersey

Would you ride??? This is not what they are building this is just what I think would be cool. I have been working on this project for more than 2 years starting when Ka closed. #sixflagsgreatadventure #kingdaka #intamin #launch #nolimits2

It’s been a year since Kingda Ka sent its final trains, and I was lucky enough to be one of the few people to get to go to the top, and be more than likely be part of the last non-maintenance group to go up. It was arguably better than getting the very last train launched on Ka as apart of the employee train. Don’t forget to check out my YouTube channel! Project 2026/2027. Yesterday, ACE members were given an exclusive tour of the Project 2026/27 construction site. The areas that once housed Green Lantern and Kingda Ka now sit empty, with groundwork underway as crews begin pouring footers for what promises to be a record-breaking new coaster—set to be officially announced in Spring 2026. Currently, about 50% of the footers have been poured, and there’s still progress to be made before the full layout becomes visible to onlookers. Notably, the ride has been confirmed *not* to be a “parking lot coaster,” so don’t expect to see pavement beneath the track once it opens.
