I remember when we travelled to New York and spent two weeks there. It was a food-focused trip where we visited three to four casual restaurants/food trucks a day and what we admired was the culture. Loyal customers of many years, waiting hours in line to grab a taco from Los Tacos No 1, eat a slice of pizza from Joe’s Pizza, or grab a cookie from Levain Bakery. There were no expectations of making reservations or calling the outlets to check for seating availability. If you really wanted to eat their food (which the New Yorkers did) you had to wait in line and sometimes even get sent back (happened to us twice and we came back hours earlier the next day😂). We wished for that kind of culture in Dubai, that kind of passion from customers - and we slowly see it blossoming with eateries like @kinoyadubai The food is delicious (appetizers are not to be missed) and the service was refreshing. What we loved was seeing the staff’s faces brighten up with glee as frequent customers walked in - and THIS is what we wish for every restaurant in Dubai experiences. #Kinoya #JapaneseCuisine
