ad One of the most fascinating parts of parenthood is learning that childcare is still such a taboo - but only for women! And I think for as long as we keep childcare a secret, it only creates a culture of double standards that leaves mums feeling guilty and burned out. That is one of the many reasons that I’m really excited to talk to you about Koru Kids. 🫶❤️
 Often the different expectations we place on mums and dads are so subconscious we often aren’t aware of them until we’re on the receiving end of them. In the time I’ve been a mum, I’ve had so much guilt, shame, and judgement placed on me for having childcare - whilst Tommy has just … gone to work. 🤪 
Comments like: “who’s looking after the baby?” every time I go to work. Or “Why have kids if someone else is going to look after them?” - funnily enough this comment is always aimed at mums and not dads. 😅
 It’s like we still have the expectations on women from the 1950s, but then we expect them to turn up to work as if they don’t have children. 🤯 
And don’t get me started on the fact school hours and work hours don’t match up! Ultimately, if both parents are working then you need childcare. Simple. 🥰
