Centuries old family bakery in Athens specialising in loukoumades, a traditional Greek deep fried dough ball, that can be topped with honey, honey sugar syrup and cinnamon. We added chopped walnuts but you can also have it topped with chocolate sauce too! This is Krinos (since 1923) bakery in the centre of Athens!! Huge thanks to my dear friend for this rec 🫶 Krinos (since 1923) on Aiolou 87 is one of those can’t-miss Athens spots tucked inside a gorgeous 1850s neoclassical building that used to be the city’s first pharmacy.
