Taiji: A pod of Pilot Whales has been driven into the cove. We expect they will stay in the cove overnight before enduring the captive selection or slaughter process tomorrow. Japanese activists Emiko and Kiyo estimate the pod to be 35. Kunito confirms Pilot Whales. Video by Kunito Seko September 7, 2022 11:00 am #dolphinproject #kunito

RP 👉 @dolphin_project TAIJI: Sadly, the dolphin hunters managed to corral about 40 melon-headed whales into the cove. An estimated 15 were killed and the rest were pushed back out to sea, exhausted and traumatized. Please share and help spread the word. November 16, 2022 #dolphinproject #kunito

The police investigation is underway in response to our criminal complaint.
In case you missed it, we recently submitted a complaint with Japanese police challenging the sale of mercury-laden dolphin meat from Taiji.
This investigation is a significant step forward in our campaign to disrupt the supply chain of dolphin meat from the Taiji hunts.
Thank you to all the incredible dolphin defenders for their hard work and dedication in spreading awareness about the importance of protecting dolphin populations.
