$8 Beef Noodle Soup 🚨New in Flushing🚨 $10 for 20 dumplings 📍四季面馆 - 41-46 Main Street Saw the $8 beef noodle sign and had to try it. Spoiler: the real thing looks NOTHING like the photo on the sign 😂 (no carrots, no pickled veggies… but honestly I don’t like carrots in my noodle soups anyway). It’s a super low-key walk-up window spot. They mostly speak Mandarin, so I just showed the photo of the sign and said “two of this + one dumplings.” Not even sure if that’s the official process—another lady printed the receipt from the front. Seating? Three foldable picnic-style tables. Think one-vendor food court energy. Big highlight: a sweet young girl (the one in the video stepping out) helped translate from the kitchen. She was trying to stay warm back there and we ended up chatting a bit. Made the whole experience way more fun and memorable. Now, the food: 🥢 Beef Noodle Soup ($8) Light but surprisingly flavorful broth. Generous amount of tender beef shank (not dry at all). Standard noodles… but they give you an absolute mountain of them. Very filling. 🥟 Dumplings ($10 for 20) Pork + celery filling, only one kind. Nothing fancy or mind-blowing, but solid homemade taste and they don’t skimp on the filling. Great value. (They also sell them frozen to take home.) Sauce: soy (red bottle), sesame oil (yellow), vinegar (clear), and chili (Lao Gan Ma vibes, not pictured). For the price this is straight-up a steal in Flushing. I ate half my noodle bowl + 3 dumplings and was stuffed. Easily could’ve split one soup + the 20 dumplings between two people and still walked away full. Underrated gem if you want cheap, hearty, no-frills beef noodles & dumplings.
