How to steam milk for latte art 🥛 When you’re just starting with latte art and milk steaming, don’t worry too much about making the perfect milk texture. Instead, practice steaming milk with more air and less air. Learning to control both is the real milk steaming skill. Once you can do that, finding the perfect balance becomes much easier.

Try it out and see if it helps. It’s hard to slow down your ripples! The app is called Oscillate by @baristajonstovall. Find it on his page! Donations for his app go to helping him pay for head and neck cancer treatment. https://ipourquality.com/oscillatte/ Getting clean lines requires a lot. 1. Good milk texture 2. Controlled rippling 3. Rotating the cup at a steady pace so the ripples don’t bunch #homecafe #homebarista #latteart #lamarzocco #lattearttutorial

A common mistake we see novice baristas making when trying to pour a latte art pattern is not lifting at the very end to strike through the pattern. Not doing this causes a fat line to be dragged through the pattern ruining your work. So as Jimmy says here, make sure you lift up right at the end and strike through the pattern which will create a finer stream of milk and a finer line to cut through your final pattern. Tips from Learning a New Design ☕🐇 Try this bunny design with me! It's trickier than it looks, as most of it requires dragging of dry foam. I do need a better recording angle (cut some parts due to blocking it) and I'm still learning this design myself. But this is a learning channel, so I hope the tutorial recording and these tips might help anyone who wants to try it! 😊 💡 I steam my milk a touch thicker (more air) and at a somewhat lower temperature so the foam will be more stable, as these designs take longer to pour. 💡 Make sure to start with the exact amount of milk needed. Or you can pour any extra wet foam away after you make the body & feet so you can get to your dry foam for the dragging part (ears, head, tail). My first ear was too thin due to not fully getting into the dry foam yet. 💡I lay my base fairly high (~60-80% of the cup). It depends on how many rosettas or details you want to add and how big you want the body to be. 💡 A sharp spout pitcher like this @normcorewares one allows for thinner lines when drawing. In addition, this larger 20oz size not only gives more reach, but also has a longer spout "trench" which helps with dry foam control. Hope these can help! It's so hard to find detailed tutorials on free pours as most just focus on the drawing part. Please share any tips you have or feel free to ask more questions. Let's learn together! 😊🙌 --- Mat: @ternal_design #lattearttutorial #freepourart #latteartpractice #latteartbunny #latteartlearning
Comment EVO and I’ll DM you the link to the latte art pitcher I’m using 👇 Cleaner swan latte art starts with controlling the flow. 🦢 Start high and slow to mix the milk into the crema. Bring the spout close and wiggle in place. Let the flow spread the lines, then pull back and slightly to the side to build the wing. Lift and cut along the wing’s edge, draw the neck, and finish the head. I’m pouring with the EVO 2.0 milk pitcher, designed with a unique curved body to make latte art easier. Want one for your next pour? Comment EVO and I’ll DM you the link. #LatteArt #LatteArtTutorial #SwanLatteArt #MilkPitcher #BaristaSwag

LATTE ART SCHOOL — LESSON 3 🖤☕ Today we’re making a Winged Tulip. 🪽 It looks complicated, but it’s basically just a few simple movements, good milk texture, and a hand that hopefully knows what it’s doing. 😂 Start with the winged symbol, add a little wiggle, stack your tulips, squeeze everything together, and finish it with one last heart. Is it easy? Not exactly. Is it possible? Absolutely. And if your hands shake a little… apparently that’s just part of the technique. 😂 Save this one, try it tomorrow, and thank me later. 🖤🤘 Which pattern should I teach next? #lattearttutorial #baristadaily #coffeelover #latteart #artist
