most of us are taught that love is a feeling, but feelings are passing and undependable. so, how could you possible define a relationship by something as unpredictable as your emotions in the moment?
no no no, love is a choice. 💛
i choose to be with you, to trust you in every way, to be vulnerable with you and to heal myself so you don’t have to carry my doubts and fears, because my heart knows that i’m fortunate to have you.
i choose to be your adventure partner because i don’t ever want you to feel alone, and i get up at 7am to do workouts i don’t think we have time for because they make you happy. i choose to reassure your insecurities because you choose to do the same for me.
we choose to be with someone because love is a choice and no one deserves to be half loved because of ever evolving feelings.
