𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘚𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘱𝘴 gone Global! Thank you to the Ottawa Public Library, Toronto Public Library, The National Library of Scotland, The Hawaii State Public Library and many others for adding 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘚𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘱𝘴 𝘙𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘦𝘴 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘈 𝘕𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘐𝘤𝘦 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘱 to their collections. It’s now available worldwide. At Libraries. And we love libraries! When we saw our recipe book available in larger libraries, we had this idea to reach out to smaller libraries in rural Ontario and Quebec. And from this, the 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 project was born and we decided to reach out beyond our border. This February, on a crisp sunny cold weekend, we visited 30 small libraries in Vermont! Stick around to the end of this reel to see our page turning road trip and a map of where The Merry Dairy’s recipe book is available world wide. Know a small library that would like a copy of Great Scoops? Let us know in the comments. Thank you to all the small and large libraries who have added our recipe book to their catalogue. 🚗🚙⛰️📖📚📗 #DeweyDecimal for ice cream cookbooks is 614862, in applied science 😉 “The only thing that you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library.” - Albert Einstein #publiclibrary #vermont #librarianLife #vermontlife #librariesareforeveryone #librarylove #visityourlocallibrary #vermonttourism #icecream #artisanicecream

come spend the day with a librarian📚 there were a lot of on the desk tasks. I am in the process of reordering books because they are in gross condition and I am ordering a new batch of books for October. But yes to new clean books 🥰 🏷️#cometoworkwithme #librarian #workvlog #library

✨️A Week in the Life of a Secondary Librarian✨️ To answer the question of what I did last week, I thought I would put together a little video to showcase all of the things I do on a daily basis!!  Each day looks different than the last in the life of a secondary librarian, and I'm sure people often wonder what I do all day. Here is just a glimpse of the tasks that go on in the library. NOT PICTURED: While most of this shows me working on a computer, I feel like 90% of the time I'm talking to students and staff! I love interacting with all of the people in this school - it's my favorite part of the job!!  #library #librarylove #teenlibrarian #yalibrarian #highschoollibrarian #highschoollibrary #librarylife #librarianlife #schoollibrary #schoollibrarian #librariesofinstagram #bookstagram #librariansfollowlibrarians #librariansofinstagram #instabooks #books #bookreview #yabooks #youngadultlit #youngadultliterature #youngadultbooks #mediaspecialist #futurereadylibs #yafiction #fiction #vlog #adayinthelife

is the library ever busy? - YES! my department picks up A TON at the start of the school year & during finals! Some shifts are so busy I can’t even remember the task I stepped away from in order to help someone, which makes me happy because it means people are coming into the library! Here is a small glimpse of the on desk work flow I have as a library worker during busy season! 📚 🩵 also just finished An American Marriage by @tayari & it’s incredible! I love a book with flawed characters & storytelling through letters. This is a must read! #bookstagram #librarylife #library #librarian #libraryday

Open the library with me! 📚 I thought it would be fun to try something a little different. If you spot a book you’ve read in this video, leave a comment with the title and your star rating to help someone else find their next great read. ⭐️ I’ll go first… Solito by Javier Zamora ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such an inspiring story, and it was so beautifully told. Did you spot a book you’ve read? 👀 #LibraryLife #OpenTheLibraryWithMe #BookRecommendations #BookLovers #LibraryTok

IT’S COMING TOGETHER. It only took 3 years. 🤣 Proof that good things take time! From a giant empty room with boxes full of books and dust—> to a cozy and welcoming space for our readers that I am truly so proud of! POV: You work at the library, so naturally James Patterson has become a recurring character in your nightmares. 😱

Is librarianship the dream job? 📖 I love my job and yes it’s my dream job but it may not be the dream job some people expect it to be. It’s a job like any other so it’s not perfect. But I love what I do and have found ways to continue being passionate about it. 🏷️ #librarian #publiclibrary #librarianlife #librarylove
