Around The Philippines in 82 Dishes 27th Dish: Batangas - Lomi INGREDIENTS: Garlic - 1 whole Red onions - 1 whole Pork cuts - 200g Pork liver - 100g Pork Stock - 1.5 L Soy sauce - 1/2 cup Salt - pinch Pepper - pinch Ground pork (Bola Bola) - 200g Carrots - 1 whole Cabbage - 80g Kikiam - 100g Chorizo Macau - 2 pcs Lomi noodles - 150g Eggs - 3 pcs Cassava starch - 3/4 cup Spring onions - pinch PROCEDURE: 1. Saute garlic and onions. 2. Add the pork cuts and liver. Set aside the liver. 3. Add pork stock, season with soy sauce. 4. Add the carrots and cabbage. Boil. 5. Prepare the toppings, deep fry bola bola and kikiam. 6. Add the noodles. 7. Thicken with cassava starch. 8. Add beaten eggs. 9. Feeding my garden with @getlomi #LomiPartner⁣ ⁣ Composting can be tricky depending on your living situation, which is why I always like having the Lomi Bloom on my countertop. Even though I compost outside too, it’s a super convenient solution that is perfect for the indoor environment and works FAST! I dump my food scraps in at the end of each day, and I wake up the next morning with fresh Lomi Earth that I can add as a supplement to my outdoor garden 🥬⁣ ⁣ For me, diverting food waste from landfills is far more important than making perfect compost, and I can even track how many pounds of food waste and CO2 I’m saving.
