I seriously felt like I was in another country for a second 🤯⬇️ follow @hollandcouple for more travel recommendations! 📍 Location: BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Chinó Hills, California. 🎟️ Parking and Entrance is free 🛕 The Temple: this place is unreal. Everything is made of hand-carved marble and sandstone, and every detail is insane. The pieces were made in India, shipped to the US and assembled like legos here. It’s also an active place of worship, so it’s very peaceful and quiet. Be respectful, this is a sacred place. ⏰ Hours: the mandir is open daily, but the temple itself has specific visiting times (usually 9am–12pm and 4pm–7:30pm). The overall campus/visitor center is open around 9am–7:30pm. 🍽️ Food: they have a café/food court on-site with Indian food and snacks, plus a small shop. 📸 Rules: no photos or videos inside the temple at all, and no drones anywhere without permission. You can take photos and videos outside though. 👕 Dress Code: shoulders, chest, and knees must be covered. No shorts, crop tops, or sleeveless shirts. If needed, they’ll give you wraps at the entrance. 👟 Shoes: you’ll need to remove your shoes before going inside. 💧 It can get pretty hot, so bring water and take your time walking around. #🇺🇸 Los Angeles is painting its streets white ☀️ To combat extreme heat waves and the "urban heat island" effect, LA is coating its black asphalt roads with a special solar reflective paint. This simple hack bounces the sun's rays back into space instead of absorbing them, dropping street-level temperatures by up to 15 degrees. It's a massive, real-world experiment to cool down the city and save lives during brutal summers 🌡️🏙️

Los Angeles in 2026 isn’t a real place

True story: In the hills above Los Angeles, I randomly found three abandoned hyena cubs just vibing but also lowkey struggling, and for some reason I was like “yeah you’re coming home with me,” which was probably the most unhinged decision I’ve ever made; fast forward and now my house is basically a chaotic zoo where they’re sprinting through rooms at 3am, making those weird laugh noises like they’re plotting something, absolutely destroying my furniture, but also acting like giant emotional support dogs, and somehow between the madness, the mess, and the neighbors definitely questioning my life choices, we became this weird little family that honestly just makes sense.

Moments in Media 🎥 The moment Kanye West announced a massive return to Los Angeles. Ye is officially set to perform live at SoFi Stadium on April 3, 2026, marking what’s being promoted as his only Los Angeles performance. If confirmed, the show would also mark Kanye’s first major performance in the United States in several years, following a long stretch where most of his appearances and listening events happened overseas. Kanye has a history of turning stadium shows into full scale experiences, from the floating stage of the Saint Pablo Tour to the massive listening events surrounding Donda. With SoFi Stadium holding over 70,000 fans, this could easily become one of the biggest hip hop events of the year. Covered by @terrencioo Do you think this show sells out? $7.81 a gallon in Los Angeles. Alameda and East Cesar Chavez. People talk about war like it is far away. This is what war looks like at home. Remember this moment. When energy spikes like this, everything else follows. Food. Shipping. Rent. This is only the beginning. WWIII #losangeles #gasprices #inflation #costofliving #california
