🪡🧵Students from @fashion_textiles_ual_fad contributed their ideas to the texTALES Collection, presented in Paris at La Maison des Réfugiés during Paris Fashion Week. texTALES was developed through social tailoring ateliers in Paris, Athens and Florence, where migrants and refugees transformed personal narratives into collective garments. Through shared making, participants bring their cultural skills and textile traditions into the studio - fostering exchange, inclusion and empowerment while building community through craft. All of the looks are made from dead stock fabrics from @balmain @lemaire @chanelofficial and more Paris Fashion Houses! The cloche- reimagined. For AW26 with @tolucoker we took the 1920s silhouette and rebuilt it in bold tartans and fractured checks. And sculpted to have more of a 1960s vibe. Graphic from above, intimate from the side. A “little hat” with presence. The 1920s cloche once marked a shift in freedom and identity.
