For $55 per person, the whole table will share: ✨ Polenta Fries with marinara ✨ Arancini – saffron risotto stuffed with eggplant, zucchini & mozzarella ✨ Coccoli – warm Tuscan fried dough dipped in creamy stracchino cheese, olive oil & pepper Then we move into the heart of Tuscany: Malfatti con Sugo Toscano Hand-cut egg pasta with a slow-simmered Tuscan meat sauce of pork, chicken, brisket & sirloin. We’ve been on a cozy date night kick recently, but what better time to do it?! This time we went back to a spot we hadn’t visited in a while, @normandiepdx 🦀🦪 It had been a few years since my last visit, but it was just as charming and delicious as I remembered. The space is modern yet cozy, and the attention to detail (both in the food and the service) makes the whole experience feel elevated. We also love how thoughtful the menu is and how it takes inspiration from the PNW and blends it with French influences. We tried a mix of fan favorites and a few new-to-us dishes. The crab beignets were easily one of the most fun and unique things we’ve ever had, and sooo good. We also loved the hanger steak, Parisienne gnocchi, and the poached prawns — which far exceeded our expectations and may have been our favorite dish of the night. Such a perfect date night spot, but also somewhere I’d recommend for drinks and small bites. The menu has great variety and is ideal for sharing. #cocktailbar #oysters #pdx #datenight #portland
