Welcome to the Coolest Mac Apps Series - Part 1 🔥 I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro M5 Max and really wanted to improve my workflow and find some incredible apps that will improve my setup and how I get to enjoy it.

In this part we will explore the first 2 applications from my list and each week I will share further application that I found extremely cool and useful!

💜 Alcove - Dynamic Island for your Mac I found this cool functionality of a Dynamic Island in the notch and when I first found it, there was so many different applications. I tried all of them and either they had too many things which were not needed or they were completely abandoned by the developer.

But this one App Alcove kept coming up in all the threads and comments, the Developer is extremely committed and always helpful with a wonderful community on discord.

The transitions on this are genuinely fantastic and it doesn’t bloat with unnecessary features. It’s also extremely polished and has incredibly low CPU usage.

🥧 Kando - The Ultimate Pie Menu I was looking for an app that will help me launch my apps quicker using some kind of radial menu. 

I once again found so many different options but Kando really stood out to me. 

Not only it’s insanely polished, blazingly fast but once again the Developer is someone who really cares, listens to feedback and answers all the questions on discord and even creates tutorials on YouTube.

What’s cool is that it uses Fitt’s law so you can open or launch a macro that can be nested very deeply in your configured menu within millisecond by just relying on your muscle memory. It’s the app I use constantly to open applications, websites, files or even start my workflow by opening multiple applications at once in a specific layout.
