štattooing has existed for thousands of years and didnāt begin with the invention of the tattoo machine in the US in the early 1900sš
.
If youāve been in my chair, weāve probably talked about this. The way US politics have been going, Iāve been thinking deeply about community. About what the future could look like if we all cared for each other. One of the reasons I think Iāve always been drawn to tattooing is that I believe thatās what it is in its purest formācare.
.
I think itās important to dream of the world we could have, and Iāve been seeing a lot of people talk about bartering recently. I donāt want to barter. I want to be a part of a larger system that makes sure everyoneās needs are met. I want to provide tattooing and art and food for the people in my community, and in return, I want to have my housing and medical needs met. There has to be something better than where we are now.
.
Rant over, and I apologize deeply for needing to advertise and charge for my work. Please know I want something different. Please know I am constantly thinking about this š
