Beautiful wall decor! Make this simple yet elegant Macrame Mandala with just two materials! Have you tried Macrame? Share your thoughts in the comments below! 👇🏼💙 . 🔖 Save the post for later and TAG someone who would find it useful! . Materials Used – Macrame cord (3ply), Aluminium Hoop (6.5inch), Macrame Fringe brush (optional) Step 1 - Cut 60 pieces of 2ft (24 inches) long cord each. Tie the cords onto the hoop, as shown. (Lark head's knot) Tape down the hoop with masking tape so it stays in place. Step 2 - For one pattern (6 cords each doubled with lark head knot) Pick the center 8 cords and make the basic square knot. Take the string on the left and bend it so it makes a ‘4’ over the two cords in the middle and underneath the cord on the right. Bring the right cord under  the two center cords and over the left cord. Pull tightly. Repeat the same, with the one next to it (center) Step 3 - Repeat this knot using the center cords (2 from each knot as shown) . Step 4 - Take the first cord on the left and place it diagonally. Now, pull the immediate cord from underneath and over the 1st cord and tie a knot like shown. Repeat it once again with the same cord. (Double half hitch knot) . Now, continue the same knot with the other cords till you reach the center. Tie the same knot with the right cord over the left one to create a V shape. Repeat this to add another line. Cut out a V shape from the leftover cords. Our first segment is ready. . Step 5 - Repeat the same with the rest of the cords (in groups of 6 each) total 10. . Using a Macrame or fringe brush, untwist the cords and cut a V shape. . Easy boho decor 😍 Pick from a range of Macrame colored cords available and give this DIY project a try! This color is surely one of our favorites! What do you think? Comment below 👇🏼💙 . 🔖 Save the post for later and TAG someone who would find it useful! . Project by @thedreamysaga . Material used - Macrame twisted colored cord (3 ply) 3mm, wooden ring (3.5 inch) , scissors and comb. Step 1 - Cut 2 pieces of 1 meter long cord and 16 pieces of half meter cord. Step 2- Now add two 1 meter cord on top and Insert cords to the ring using lark's head knot.Add all 16 cord using same technique. Step 3 - Total 18 cords (36 strands) divide into 2 section. Step 4 - Now make double half hitch knot each in each section as shown in video . Repeat the process again. Step 5- Cut excess cord to give it a leaf shape. Step 6- Comb the fringes and cut excess cord till you reached your desired size.
