Some projects challenge you.
Some teach you patience.
And some remind you why you started creating in the first place.
This commission did all three.
By far my biggest commission to date, these three custom macrame spiral window features were designed for a beautiful home on Stradbroke Island.
130 handcrafted spirals, 4,680 metres of cotton cord, over 8 weeks in the making.
Seeing all three pieces come together for the first time made every single hour worthwhile.
Now all that’s left is to see them in their forever home... and I honestly can’t wait!

Let me share with you the projects I've started (even few years ago) and stuck on some stage 😅
Unfortunately, I have a tendency to love starting new projects, but I often can't finish them because of my perfectionism 🙃 It's hard for me to finish something if I don't like it enough 🤷
This series is my little CORNER of SHAME, because when we finish it, I might find I have more unfinished projects than finished ones 😅
