〜理想の小さな海〜 このボトルも、立ち上げてもうすぐ10ヶ月🐠 赤や緑、ピンクなど、さまざまな海藻やソフトコーラルで彩られています☺︎ 魚やエビ、ヤドカリなど、ほとんどの生き物たちもすっかり環境に慣れて、今では私を見かけると寄って来てくれるようになりました☺️ 少しずつですが、自分にとっての理想に近づいてきた気がします🌱 @syo_aqua_plants 〜My Ideal Little Ocean〜 It’s been almost 10 months since I started this bottle aquarium🐠 It’s now filled with all kinds of colors—from red and green macroalgae to pink seaweeds and soft corals☺︎ Most of the fish, shrimp, and hermit crabs have also become completely comfortable in their home, and now they even come over when they see me☺️ Little by little, I feel like it’s getting closer to my own ideal little ocean🌱 @syo_aqua_plants #Macroalgae #MarineAquarium #NanoReef #BottleAquarium #Aquascape

The Synergy Seagrass & Macroalgae 🌿 I’ve been exploring a fascinating connection between seagrass and macroalgae in my tanks. I’ve observed that when seagrass thrives, macroalgae often flourishes alongside it. My hypothesis is that the rhizosphere microorganisms surrounding seagrass roots play a key role. They support the environment by helping minerals become available for absorption. While liquid additives are a fantastic and common tool in modern aquariums, I’m experimenting with a “substrate-first” approach. By enriching the substrate with minerals, I’m looking to use the natural power of microorganisms to transform the tank floor into a biological filter and a nutrient reactor. It’s a small world, but it holds endless possibilities. #seagrass #macroalgae

My desk sidekick is a 17.4L (4.6 gal) macroalgae nano tank. Powered entirely by repurposed freshwater gear, it relies on a Modian RGB light, a compact hang-on-back filter, a surface skimmer for biofilm, and a simple corner mineral water bottle auto top-off. #macroalgae #macroalgaetank #nanotank #reeftank #reef2reef

Been trying to get back into the tank maintenance groove today after a lot of tank neglecting in my fish room since I’ve been busy with life, work and traveling. Always easiest for me to start with my macroalgae bowl. A quick trim, water change, and wipe down, then we’re good to go. ✅👌 #aquarium #aquariumhobby #saltwateraquarium #plantedtank #fishtank
