Super affordable! 2️⃣ USE A TRIPOD - I don’t know what I would do without mine. - Allows you to keep shots steady… nothing worst than a shaky shot. 3️⃣ FILM USING THE BACK CAMERA - Best quality! - I use IPhone 15Pro and recommend anything in Pros or Max. ✨ Don’t forget to wipe the lens from dirty fingerprints before filming 😉 4️⃣ CAMERA SETTINGS - Film in 4K 60fps - HDR OFF (prevents being oversaturated) - Most Compatible - Grid ON (helps frame correctly) 5️⃣ USE ZOOM - 2 x zoom is actually my favourite when filming most product shots & skincare! 6️⃣ ANGLES AND MOVEMENT - Play around with different angles is KEY (improves video engagement) - Always film more than you think - Use slow small steady movements. - Create movement with products! My NON-NEGOTIABLES for using a Macro Lens!!🍓 If you want to achieve those superrrr detailed close up videos, then a macro lens that clips onto your phone is a great option. 👉 Comment “MACRO” if you want the link to this exact macro lens. 1️⃣ Wipe your phone camera before filming. Also wipe the products you’re filming too! Fingerprints and everything else will show up. 2️⃣ Place the macro lens on the bottom camera (for iPhone) and film on 1 x zoom. You can zoom in more, but this makes it harder to focus. 3️⃣ Film in 4K at 60fps, and turn off HDR. 4️⃣ Turn OFF the iPhone macro flower🌼 This silly setting is only available on newer models, and you’ll want to manually turn it off. 5️⃣ Stabilise your phone with a tripod, and you can keep your arms stable by resting them on a table. 6️⃣ Move slowlyyy until you find that sweet spot! 👉 Comment «MACRO» if you’d like the direct link! #macrolens #macrolensvideo #iphonevideography #shotoniphone #howtousemacrolens

Water-oil bubble close ups are so mesmerizing but at the same time, they can be surprisingly tricky🤔 Here are a few tips to make the process easier: 1️⃣Take a long, thin object (a spoon works perfectly) and place it in the center of the glass, with the handle pointing down 2️⃣Move the glass closer to the macro lens until the handle is in focus 3️⃣Lock the focus (using AE/AF function if you have iPhone): tap the subject, then touch and hold the screen until AE/AF Lock shows in yellow, start recording in Slow-Mo mode (keep in mind that the first few seconds of a Slow-Mo video aren’t actually slowed down) 4️⃣Remove the spoon and pour oil right into the exact same spot in the center. The size and shape of bubbles will depend on your pouring technique: pouring from closer to the glass creates larger, slower-moving bubbles, while pouring from higher up creates smaller, more chaotic ones 5️⃣Play with editing! Add Sharpen and Clarity, experiment with color grading (move Saturation all way down if you want a monochrome look) or try transforming the footage (I often use a 180° rotation). Taking high quality and crisp content doesn't need to break the bank, and certainly doesn't require a studio setup (fun fact, most of these clips were taken with a $50 macro lens) Let's get into it 👇🏼 1️⃣ film in 4k, 60FPS and please for the love of everything that is good, turn off HDR 2️⃣ natural lighting only! Ring lights don't have the same effect as sunlight will have. I'll always film during a particular time of the day to capture the best sunlight. It's not as convenient but makes a world of difference 3️⃣ take multiple shots A simple tip we tend to overlook. Move slow and steady - that way when editing you don't need to opt for a shot you aren't entirely happy with 4️⃣ use the sharpen tool When editing be sure to use the sharpen tool. I use CapCut and tend to sharpen by +12 or so 5️⃣ export in 1080p!! One of the most important tips: Instagram will compress videos above 1080p, reducing quality. As long as you have filmed in 4k, then export in 1080p you'll be fine! 6️⃣ practice practice practice with your macro lens! Having a macro lens doesn't guarantee high quality content.
