🎥: MADtv - Stuart Bloopers (Michael McDonald & Mo Collins) | MADtv | Sketch Comedy | Behind-the-Scenes Bloopers This is a blooper reel from MADtv’s beloved ‘Stuart’ sketches, featuring Michael McDonald as the man-child Stuart Larkin and Mo Collins as his chaotic, cocktail-toting mother Doreen. The recurring bit had Stuart, a simple-minded, wide-eyed manchild, constantly showing off with his catchphrase energy while his frazzled mom tried to control him in public and at home. Stuart was one of MADtv’s most enduring characters, reportedly appearing dozens of times across the show’s run, and the on-set chemistry between McDonald and Collins often led to genuine corpsing during takes. Mo Collins was also known for other iconic MADtv characters like Lorraine Swanson, but her work as Doreen opposite McDonald’s Stuart remains one of her most memorable pairings, with outtakes like this one still circulating widely as fan-favorite clips decades later. #MADtv #Stuart #Reels #Explore #ForYourPage
Stuart Larkin from MADtv became one of the show’s most unforgettable characters, played by Michael McDonald. Known for his oversized pajamas, high-pitched voice, and childlike behavior, Stuart appeared in recurring sketches alongside his overbearing mother, creating hilariously awkward and unpredictable moments. His exaggerated mannerisms and bizarre one-liners made him an instant fan favorite, helping define MADtv’s bold, offbeat comedy style and leaving a lasting impression on sketch comedy audiences.
David Herman was the only actor Judge had in mind for any specific part: Michael Bolton. Herman had been trying to leave his seven-year contract at MADtv, but the show would not let him. So, at its next table reading, he managed to get himself fired by screaming all his lines. Greg Daniels said they could always find a place for him on King of the Hill, where he had been doing some voice work; soon after he read Judge's Office Space script and was delighted with it.
😂 Interesting fact: Key & Peele (2012–2015) — This Comedy Central sketch series stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, who play a huge variety of characters while satirizing race, pop culture, politics, and everyday social situations. A fun detail is that Key and Peele actually met while auditioning for MADtv in 2003. The producers originally intended to hire only one Black cast member, but their chemistry was so strong that they decided to hire both. That partnership eventually led to their own show. The show ran for 5 seasons, won a Peabody Award and two Primetime Emmys, and produced several sketches that became viral internet classics, including the famous Obama “Anger Translator” character Luther.
Key & Peele content🎥🤣 Before the fame, before Key & Peele became a cultural staple, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele were just two comedians grinding it out and finding their rhythm🫶 Their early days on MADtv is where everything clicked different styles, same comedic instincts. Key brought that high-energy, theatrical presence, while Peele had this sharp, layered delivery that could flip a scene instantly👌 What made their friendship special wasn’t just talent it was trust. You could see them building off each other in real time, pushing sketches further than expected. That foundation turned into one of the most iconic duos in comedy. By the time they got their own show, it wasn’t luck it was years of chemistry, timing, and knowing exactly how to make each other shine💫
You only look forward to retirement😂 Key & Peele is an iconic American sketch comedy series created by and starring Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, which aired on Comedy Central from 2012 to 2015.
